"Kami akan perlihatkan kepada mereka tanda-tanda kekuasaan Kami di merata-rata tempat (dalam alam yang terbentang luas ini) dan pada diri mereka sendiri, sehingga ternyata jelas kepada mereka bahawa Al-Quran adalah benar. Belumkah ternyata kepada mereka kebenaran itu dan belumkah cukup (bagi mereka) bahawa Tuhanmu mengetahui dan menyaksikan tiap-tiap sesuatu?"(Surah Fussilat:53)

Daily Hadith: Part 1

Assalamualaikum..i'm pleased to share with this posting that i got from my e-mail..Hopefully, u can get a lot of informations from these hadiths...

Prayer at Night (Tahajjud)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
A man said, "O Allah's Apostle! (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) How is the
prayer of the night?" He said, "Two Rakat followed by two Rakat and so on,
and when you apprehend the approaching dawn, offer one Raka as Witr."
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 238

Narrated Hudhaifa (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
Whenever the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) got up for Tahajjud
prayer he used to clean his mouth (and teeth) with Siwak.
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 237

Narrated 'Aisha, the mother of the faithful believers (Radi-Allahu 'anha):
One night Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) offered the prayer
in the Mosque and the people followed him. The next night he also offered
the prayer and too many people gathered. On the third and the fourth nights
more people gathered, but Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
did not come out to them. In the morning he said, "I saw what you were
doing and nothing but the fear that it (i.e. the prayer) might be enjoined
on you, stopped me from coming to you." And that happened in the month of
Ramadan.

Shortening the Prayers (At-Taqseer)

Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
Whenever the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) started the journey
before noon, he used to delay the Zuhr prayer till the time for the 'Asr
prayer and then he would dismount and pray them together; and whenever the
sun declined before he started the journey he used to offer the Zuhr prayer
and then ride (for the journey).
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 213

Narrated 'Amir bin Rabi'a (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
I saw the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) on his Mount praying
Nawafil by nodding his head, whatever direction he faced, but Allah's
Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) never did the same in offering the
compulsory prayers. Narrated Salim: At night'Abdullah bin 'Umar used to
offer the prayer on the back of his animal during the journey and never
cared about the direction he faced. Ibn 'Umar said, "Allah's Apostle
(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to offer the optional prayer on the
back of his Mount facing any direction and also used to pray the Witr on it
but never offered the compulsory prayer on it."
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 202

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
"I saw Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) delaying the Maghrib
prayer till he offered it along with the 'Isha' prayer whenever he was in a
hurry during the journey." Salim narrated, "Ibn 'Umar used to do the same
whenever he was in a hurry during the journey." And Salim added, "Ibn 'Umar
used to pray the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers together in Al-Muzdalifa."
Salim said, "Ibn 'Umar delayed the Maghrib prayer because at that time he
heard the news of the death of his wife Safiya bint Abi 'Ubaid. I said to
him, 'The prayer (is due).' He said, 'Go on.' Again I said, 'The prayer (is
due).' He said, 'Go on,' till we covered two or three miles. Then he got
down, prayed and said, 'I saw the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
praying in this way, whenever he was in a hurry during the journey.'
'Abdullah (bin 'Umar) added, "Whenever the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) was in a hurry, he used to delay the Maghrib prayer and then offer
three Rakat (of the Maghrib) and perform Taslim, and after waiting for a
short while, Iqama used to be pronounced for the 'Isha' prayer when he
would offer two Rakat and perform Taslim. He would never offer any optional
prayer till the middle of the night (when he used to pray the Tahajjud)."
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 197

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A woman should not travel
for more than three days except with a Dhi-Mahram (i.e. a male with whom
she cannot marry at all, e.g. her brother, father, grandfather, etc.) or
her own husband.)"
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 192

Narrated Ibn Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) once stayed for nineteen days
and prayed shortened prayers. So when we travel led (and stayed) for
nineteen days, we used to shorten the prayer but if we travelled (and
stayed) for a longer period we used to offer the full prayer.
Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 186
